How to delete your account

You can delete your account yourself, without contacting us:

• In the app: open Account (fans) or Home → Edit profile (athletes), scroll to the bottom, tap Delete my account, and type DELETE to confirm.
• On the web: sign in and open My account. The Delete my account control is at the bottom of the page.
• By email: if you can no longer sign in, write to hello@getwarmups.com from the address on the account. We confirm the request with that address before acting on it.

What happens next

Deletion starts a 30-day grace period. Signing in during those 30 days and choosing Keep my account cancels it with nothing lost. After 30 days the account is deleted permanently.

The moment you ask: any request you have open is cancelled and its card hold is released, and an athlete account stops taking new requests immediately.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Deleted after 30 days: your sign-in (email and password), display name, date of birth, profile, follows, notifications, and, for fans, the entire Roster including every item in it. If you want to keep an item, transfer it to its recipient with a gift link before deleting.

Kept: transaction records that the law and our athletes’ NIL disclosure obligations require, stripped of your personal details (the note, recipient, and occasion are removed). If you are an athlete, items you already delivered stay in the fans’ Rosters who paid for them, with your display name preserved as a historical fact, and their certificates keep resolving. Identity verification records held by Stripe are redacted at Stripe on our request.

Delete some of your data without closing the account

You do not have to delete the whole account to remove something. In the app or on the web:

• Fans: open any item in your Roster to clear its dedication, scene text, or highlight link; delete an album from the Albums tab (the items stay); change your display name on the Account page; unfollow any athlete or team from the Following page. Delivered items themselves are permanent records of a purchase and are removed only with the account.
• Athletes: Edit profile lets you clear your bio, career highlights, and stat lines, and replace your photo at any time; pricing and availability are yours to change. Verification records (identity, roster, social handle) are kept while the account exists, because they back the certificates on items fans already own.
• Anything else: email hello@getwarmups.com from the address on the account and say what you want removed. We answer within 30 days. Data we must keep (transaction records, disclosures, authenticity records for items other people own) is described above.
